Thankfully, this Bubba Gump Shrimp at the end of Pier 39 hasn't changed since I first visited it in September 2015! I happened to catch it this time without a wait. Usually, there is an hour long wait or more during peak season. Even so, I think the seafood here is excellent for a mainstream restaurant, and the servers have always been friendly to me, including this time. I plan on visiting again in the future when I visit San Francisco!

View was amazing! We go when ever we are in town. Everyone enjoyed their food. It wasn't super busy and we were seated quickly.

This is a fun restaurant to eat at. So much to see on the walls, from the Forrest Gump movie. Also the staff are excellent. Service is great. Food was tasty and filling. Atmosphere was great with other people there. All in all, a great place to eat a meal.

Always consistent in quality and service. Been a fav seafood choice visiting pier 39 with local and out of state guests with great views of bay. Shrimpers net catch with Cajun, crab n shrimp rolls and quench thirsty coronarita Don't forget to validate your parking (1hr off)

We were visiting Pier 39 and shockingly, it was so incredibly hot in San Francisco this day that we wanted somewhere indoors to eat. Bubba Gump's is always a good time! We were able to get a table for 4 people within 5 minutes on a Saturday at lunch time. Their clam chowder is delicious! Had to have a bowl being in San Francisco. My husband and I split a shrimp cocktail and the crab and shrimp tools. Everything was so good. Their bread on the crab and shrimp rolls is almost like a Texas Toast consistency. Really good. This is a fun spot! Our waiter was super attentive to our table and our food came out fairly quickly.

When we visited Bubba Gumps we had to wait about 10-15 minutes which wasn't too bad considering there was a lot of people. We were seated and got our drink order right but had to wait for a little bit. The food was outstanding and shrimp were cooked perfectly. The Bang Bang shrimp appetizer was plenty for 1 person. It just had a little bit too much cabbage but other than that it was a good portion. The Forrest seafood feast was nice and crispy and very tasty. The fish was cooked perfect and the shrimp too. The hush puppies were good as well. It came with fries too and coleslaw. The whole meal itself was seasoned well and cooked just right. Overall our experience was good. The only thing is that it took a while to check out. We waited almost 15 minutes just to get our ticket, pay and leave. They were busy and understood that when it's busy to be patient which we were a left our waitress a very good tip because we saw how hard she was working to make sure the tables she had, had great service. It was loud because it was busy so if you prefer quiet this is not the place.

I was so happy to be back at Pier 39 yet haven't gone back to a Bubba Gump Restaurant in such a long time. Last tried them out when it use to be in Ala Moana Center a few years ago and the environment and atmosphere still keeping the quality up this time when I last visited. There was a total of 4 of us at dinner, it was a tasting feast definitely a time to sit down, socialize and enjoy some good food all together. It was a beautiful July summer evening, no fog in the air as the sun was setting on the bay with plenty of large windows overlooking the water. There were several birthday celebrations at other tables and the staff would sing out loud, one time it almost shook us up because the server yelled so loud I almost screamed, haha! Servers were great and very hospitable. All dishes were made to order. It was a pleasure to see how the staff handles so many full tables like they were accommodating a large convention in town. Shared pretty much everything with each other and we all enjoyed dinner so much. Thank you!

My mamma always said, " Life is like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're gonna get" Bubba Gump Shrimp is an awesome ode to the movie Forest Gump. It's cool how you get your waiters attention by flipping the cards on the table to say "Run Forest Run" or "Stop Forest Stop." The staff come by and do movie trivia :) If you can get a window seat, DO IT! You'll have a beautiful view of the bay, Alcatraz, and the ships in the harbor. The food is good. It's basic seafood so for the price, I gave it 4 stars. I like the coconut shrimp with that dipping sauce! :P The wait can be a while on weekends, but the weekdays are much better. This is a great place to take a family. Run to bubba Gumps!
